Scuti is a web-based platform that enables users to remotely manage devices, update profiles, and schedule firmware updates over the air (OTA). With Scuti, users can plan both firmware and profile changes, all while the system runs seamlessly in the background. During updates, devices continue to communicate with their tracking servers without any disruption to their normal functionality.
Devices compatible with the Scuti system are configured to report to the server every 24 hours by default, though this interval is customizable. For users looking to conserve data, the reporting frequency can be extended up to 999 hours. If a scheduled operation, such as an update, is detected during the device's check-in, the transaction is initiated at that time.
Scuti makes the update process efficient by attempting each firmware or profile upgrade up to 10 times if necessary, ensuring reliable completion. In case an upgrade cannot be finalized, the system automatically retries the operation until successful.
